If I didn't already have Verizon + Droid, I would check this one out:
Cricket has an unlimited everything smartphone no-contract plan for $55/month which is waaaay cheaper than Verizon etc. (compared to at least $80/month - and that's not even unlimited voice).
They've got 2 Android smartphones for that plan, Sanyo Zio or Huawai Ascend, both on sale for $130.

Virgin Mobile, one or Sprint's prepaid services. I you don;t want prepaid then Sprint's postpaid service is least expensive.
I have Verizon, it's good service, but it's sort of expensive. I think Sprint is relatively cheap and okay-ish?
