I've created a map on Google Maps. I can place placemarks using my computer, and can then view this on my blackberry.
What I can't do is place placemarks on my blackberry and then save them to the computer.

first of all you shouldn't confuse Google Earth with Google Maps. Generally, Google Maps refers to the online service, while Google Earth is the program you download and which offers many more features, besides viewing maps and satellite images.
Your Google Maps data are stored online in your Google account. For that you have to be logged into Google, while editing your maps.

If you're going to be away from the phone for a while, flip on airplane mode, especially if you're indoors. Smartphones use a lot of battery seeking a signal. If you have your phone indoors where signals are hard to keep, or, like me, you have to lock your phone up before entering your work area (high security), airplane mode will stop those signal beacons, and your batter will last a LOT longer (your call and texts will be waiting for you when you go live again).
Finally, about every thirty charges, drain the battery completely (until the phone shuts off) then recharge it overnight. This will recalibrate the battery and it will last longer.
An extra battery is a good idea (buy a real HTC battery, not a third-party one...trust me). You can get chargers with battery chambers that will charge the phone and an extra battery. How do you update what's on your smartphone to your computer?
I have a Samsung Blackjack 2 and I had Microsoft outlook connected to this phone with contacts and the calendar. I had to reinstall Windows and now my phone doesn't recognize the computer but I would like all of my stuff back on the computer. Could you please give a good way of solving this issue? I ordered and received my Nokia E-7 today. When I took it out of the box, it felt sleek, well built and a little heavier than I thought. Having been an Android person, I was impressed with the ease in setting up my Exchange server e-mail. It was very straight forward as was my regular mail It was a breeze to have it up and working. I was able to find free chat programs, traveler programs, Skype and a few others so far. Obviously the quantity of the programs available does not meet Apple or Android, but I am able to do all that I want with this high quality phone. not having seen the actual phone, I was stunned with its design and feel. I will revisit this after I give it a week or so in actual usage. Nokia phones are well know for their longevity and quality. i expect this one will be as good as my previous Nokia phones.What is the best smartphone for a medical student?

-Setup the motion detection, it will save evidence in a folder. The program can also run hidden.

I can definitely vouch for the Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC Sensation, I've had both and sent the Sensation back to Vodafone as I loved the Galaxy S2 - slimmer, lighter, great camera, super fast and the display was much better!

Ummm, Verizon - being an internet provider - has a website where they describe the phones available through their carrier. People who own those phones are allowed to post reviews, and they can be pretty critical.
Nobnody can tell you now what phones will be good until those phones come out. Last year I upgraded and nearly got the env touch - i was a great phone on paper and since I already had and loved the Voyager, the env touch seemed an obvious choice. In the end, I ditched it for the samsung reality because the env was over $100 extra. Turns out that was a lucky break because so many env touch owners hate their phone - and many of the complaints are consistent enough to suggest genuine overall reliability and design problems for that phone. in short, never be the 1st person to get a gadget.What is the best qwerty smartphone for Verizon, now and upcoming phones?

I have a T-mobile ready samsung behold 2 and I want to sell it. What I need to know is what I have to do to get it ready to be sold. Like what files do I have to delete and do I have to reset it.... Also is my phone only able to be used by a T-mobile customer? If you have any suggestions as to what sites to use for selling other than ebay and craigslist that would be great too! 1. From the main home screen, tap Quick List
2. Tap Settings, then Reset settings
3. Tap Master reset
4. Enter your password, then tap Yes to confirm

The quick easy answer is yes. The harder answer is not really. If you or someone else goes through the process of "unlocking" it, the phone can be used on any carrier that uses GSM wireless technology. In the US this excludes major carriers Verizon and Sprint as they use CDMA wireless technology. T-Mobile and AT%26amp;T are just a couple of of GSM carriers.

How important is a front facing camera to you on a smartphone?

If you don't mind ditching the physical keyboard, you can go for the HTC Thunderbolt or the Samsung Droid Charge.
I would go for the Samsung Droid Charge just because it's better in terms of battery life and screen.
They both have a 4.3 inch touchscreen (great for texting on the virtual keyboard as well as viewing websites and multimedia files), but the Samsung Droid Charge has a Super AMOLED Plus screen (really beautiful screen and it's the best in the smartphone business).
Both also have 4G LTE, but Samsung Droid Charge, despite being on 4G, has twice the battery life of the HTC Thunderbolt.
The only reason I would get the HTC Thunderbolt over the Samsung Droid Charge is because it looks a lot more sleeker and nicer than the weird form factor of the Droid Charge. It also has the beautiful HTC Sense UI which is the best Android interface in terms of aesthetics. But if that's not an issue for you, then by all means get the Droid Charge.
But if you really need a physical QWERTY keyboard (The EnV3 has a really really great keyboard in my opinion), you should get the Droid 3. It lacks 4G, but at least your battery life will be stable. It also has a 5 row QWERTY keyboard with a designated row for numbers. It's a really comfortable keyboard. The Droid 3 also has a 4 inch qHD display (which is good, not as great as the Super AMOLED Plus, but still good), so it's good for texting on the virtual keyboard as well.
