You could probably find a BB for around 300 too.. Any phone that you activate wont extend the contract as long as you don't upgrade with verizon.. BUT.. a phone from online will have no warranty and you run the risk of it being a lost or stolen phone..

Get the droid FOR sure! awsome touch screen and it still has the keyboard if you want it.

If you look on craigslist you shold be able to find just about any verizon phone around $300. Although there is a risk of buying a stolen phone, you can reduce this risk by meeting up with the selling at a Verizon wireless store any have the phone checked to make sure it isn't stolen before you pay for the phone. If the buyer refuses to do that then it's probably stolen
