What is the best verizon smartphone currently out?

I'm up for an upgarde for a new phone from verizon and I was trying to figure out which one I might get. I just wanted to know which one people thought was the best phone out right now between the Droid 3, Droid X2 and the Droid incredible 2. It you would be great if you said why too. Well I would avoid the Droid Incredible 2 just because it lacks a dual core processor.



So the choice is between both the Droid 3 and the Droid X2.

Both have a dual core processor, run on 3G (sorry no 4G), have HDMI out, and 8MP cameras... basically they're both pretty awesome phones with only one major difference: Keyboard



The Droid 3 features a physical QWERTY keyboard with 5 rows including a dedicated number row. The keyboard is comfortable and beautiful. But with the keyboard comes a bulkier phone.



The Droid X2 is keyboard-less but has .3 more inches on its touchscreen (which really does make a difference). It's also much more slim than a Droid 3.



So basically it's up to you whether or not you need a physical QWERTY keyboard. Avid texts who send out 100's of texts a day will definitely want the Droid 3 more than the Droid X2, but if you're only a moderate texter, the touchscreen keyboard of the Droid X2 will be more than fine.

The Droid 3 is still not a looker, and it's certainly not pocket-friendly, but those are prime characteristics of a Droid in the first place. Although the HTC Incredible 2 is not billed as an ultimate entertainment machine, it can still handle a bevy of multimedia. The Droid X2 cannot be discerned easily from the original Droid X unless you look super closely at the "2" positioned next to the "X" on the back of the phone.What is the best verizon smartphone currently out?
