I have a IPaq PDA now which is great %26amp; want to upgrade to something that also is a phone. It will be more convienient to only have 1 devcice instead of 2. I've been looking online %26amp; mostly on ebay %26amp; have seen 2 catagories for them. Smartphones %26amp; PDA phones. I'm just wondering if there is actually a difference %26amp; if so what is it? Thanks!Is there any difference between a smartphone %26amp; a PDA that can be used as a phone?
Different manufacturers brand their phones differently, but the most common would probably be:
- smartphones are without the touchscreen feature and normally feature a number or QWERTY keyboard.
- PDA phones are touchscreen models.
Note that Treos with touchscreens are branded as smartphones by Palm.
