I added the Smartphone Personal plan for unlimited data but I do not have a texting plan. I am hesitant to instant message on Yahoo or anywhere else as I'm afraid each instant message will be considered a text. I know I surf the mobile web all the time and my At%26amp;t bill is always what I expect. Just don't want any suprises. Look up your text usage on your account. The send a few of the IM's out. Wait a while and recheck your account. i use to have a blackjack 2 and yes u can im without it being counted as a text message
