Everybody everywhere is talking about smartphones these days. The electronic and print media is full of articles about newer and newer features of smartphones. Could anyone out there please explain in detail the difference or differences between a smartphone and a normal cell phone?What exactly is the difference between a smartphone and a normal mobile home?
Smartphones are more like minature computers and has an operating system much like your computer. These are the operating systems:

You can view and edit documents on a smartphone and the basic requirement is they have a full QWERTY keyboard although many ordinary phones have them now.

As the smartphone name itself explains that it will have some features that will term a handset an intelligent device. The features that make it smart are ability to send and receive e-mail and edit Office documents, browsing web, the hardware, software, QWERTY keyboard, multimedia etc, the smartphone acts as a PDA or a PC such as Samsung Galaxy S2, HTC Sensation, LG Optimus 2X. Normal phones are those which used to have the basic features like calling, messaging, listening to radio etc.
Normal phones are just that, phones with little programming that have one main purpose. Smartphones are like mini computers, mine has more processing.power than the government in the nineties.
