Ive been a Sprint customer for awhile now and it's becoming very competitive and it seems like there are no good nice phones out there that don't require a data plan with them. So, what if I bought a phone off Ebay would it be possible to get it activated but not be required a data plan for it? Also, if not what phones can i buy on Ebay and not be required a data plan that is still a smartphone?Is it possible to get a Sprint smartphone off Ebay and not require a data plan?

yes when you look for a phone look down in description idem specifics look for contract and it should say no contract
