lots of people have them, they seem primarily decorative what with the graphics on them, but do they really offer any real protection? If you drop a smartphone with a case on it, is it really more likely to survive real damage than if it didn't have one? does your personal experience bear this out either way?How necessary is it for a smartphone to have a protective case around it?
Well I have a smartphone also and was wondering the same thing. I decided to take a gamble and go with one anyways. I bought an otter box and have dropped my phone twice with case on and no damages. I would definitely suggest buying one and try not to buy one that is to bulky.
